Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Alizade / On 27 March a meeting the Commission on Toponomy of the Milli Majlis [Azerbaijan Parliament] discussed a draft law on Renaming an administrative territorial unit of Noda village of Lerik District of Azerbaijan Republic to Guneshli village.
Academician Budag Budagov, the Chairman of the Commission, informed that the Executive Power of Lerik District appealed to the Commission on Toponomy with a proposal to rename the village. After the public discussions the Commission appraised this proposal.
In the end it was decided to pass the bill to the Milli Majlis.
