Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Alizade / On 27 March, a commission meeting on Toponomy of the Milli Majlis [Azerbaijan Parliament] discussed a draft law to rename an administrative territorial unit of Noda village of Lerik District of Azerbaijan Republic to Guneshli Village.
Academician Budag Budagov, the Chairman of the Commission, reported that the Executive Power of Lerik District appealed to the Commission on Toponomy with a proposal to rename the village. After public discussions, the Commission assessed this proposal.
Finally it was decided to pass the bill to the Milli Majlis.
