Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Ilhamghizi / The Chairman of the Citizenship and Development Party (CDP), Aly Aliyev, informed that in case the party fales to get the state registration it will lodge a complaint against the Ministry of Justice to the Yasamal District Court.
Aliyev stated that the Party again applied to the Ministry of Justice and the documents are registered in the corresponding Department of the Ministry.
"We have been promised to get the reply on whether our party will be registered or not within a month. We have applied to the United States Embassy, OSCE, and the Council of Europe on the matter. In case we do not get the reply within a month we will bring an action against the Ministry," Aliyev urged.
The CDP was set up under the leadership of Aly Aliyev after the Azerbaijan National Independence Party split up into two parts in 2006. The party is a member of the oppositional block Azadlig.
