Deputy Executive Secretary of Ruling Party Says Concrete Measures to Be Taken and Applied toward Those Who Will Perform Actions Contrary to Charter of New Azerbaijan Party

Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr. I. Alizadeh// Siyavush Novruzov, a Member of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan's Parliament) and Deputy the Executive Secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), has told Trend that presently there have no centrifugal forces or processes within the Party, by adding that it is stable developing. During the last meeting of the Political Council of the New Azerbaijan party ( YAP), the delegates held discussions concerning the results of 2006, and could come to conclusion that this year was a success for the ruling party.

Commenting expelling Siruz Tabrizli from the Party, Mr. Novruzov said that expressions sounded by some persons did not mean at all that something is happening to the Party. "These people have no idea about the Party's life. I can say that since the previous elections and up to now, these persons have had no ties with the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP). Mr. Siruz Tabrizli and Mr. Ali Alirzayev have not had any ties with the Party for about two years, therefore they cannot give estimation to the activity of the ruling party, as well as any opposition forces and other experts," he said.

"Concrete measures to be further taken and applied toward those who will perform any actions contrary to the Charter of the New Azerbaijan party ( YAP) in the future as well. Mr.Ali Alirzayev may think other way, but we should respect any opinion. But, I would like to emphasize once more, decisive measures will be taken and applied toward those who break the requirements of the Charter of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (YAP)," he concluded.
