France, Strasbourg / corr. Trend E.Majidli / The report prepared by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Co-rapporteurs for Azerbaijan, Andreas Herkel and Tony Lloyd, will be discussed on April 16th at the spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The report will be presented and announced by the co-rapporteurs themselves. The final date to make amendments to the report is April 16th. A special debate on the state of human rights and democracy in Europe - with contributions from the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the heads of the main Council of Europe human rights monitoring mechanisms, as well as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch - will be a highlight of the spring plenary session of PACE, which takes place from April 16th - 20th, 2007 in Strasbourg.
