South Caucasian Conflicts to Be Discussed at PA NATO Seminar

Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr. I. Alizadeh/ Malahat Hassanova, a Member of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan's Parliament), who will represent Azerbaijan in the forthcoming seminar, has said today that conflicts in the South Caucasus, including that those in South Ossetia and Abkhazia, is expected to be discussed during 63rd seminar Rouz-Rout of the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO (PA NATO) to be held in Tbilisi on 19-21 April.

Hassanova noted that the key topic of the forthcoming event would be connected with Georgia's integration into Euro-Atlantic agencies. In addition, during the seminar, the participants will discuss NATO's and EU's relations with South Caucasian countries, the role of Parliament as an institute in South Caucasus as well as other matters. Nino Burdjanadze, Georgia's Speaker, Lello Jose, the Chairman of PA NATO and other high-ranking officials is expected to give their speech during the forthcoming event.

The Azerbaijani MP also added that no issues connected with Azerbaijan had been introduced into the forthcoming seminar agenda.
