Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S. Aghayeva / Russia agrees to assist voluntary migration of Russians residing in countries abroad including those in Azerbaijan, to the Russian Federation RF.
Yevgeni Maniatkin, the representative of the Federal Migration Office of RF, reported on 12 April that the migration process will be carried out in compliance with the program on voluntary migration of Russians residing abroad.
According to Mr. Maniatkin, the development of the necessary legal documents will be completed soon. The programs of Russian regions capable to receive migrants are being coordinated. "I suppose in May or June we will be able to begin acceptance of the appeals from the Russians wanting to migrate," Mr. Maniatkin added.
