Alizadeh / Aydin Guliyev, a member of the Congress Organizing Committee of Rasul Guliyev's Azerbaijani Democratic Party (ADP), a member of the Supreme Assembly of the Open Society Party (the party changed its name from ADP into OSP at the congress), and the most active supporter of Rasul Guliyev, reported on April 16, "I would not like to comment on the results of OSP's congress and the issues dealing with the formation of the administration."
Guliyev did not reply to whether he was dissatisfied. Guliyev took part in the preparations of the congress, but did not clarify the question of why he had not been selected a member of the administration. "The congress has ended and I do not wish to comment," he said.
Commenting on the present composition of the party's administration Gukiyev stated that "time is a great healer. I have no idea on the matter, we will see," he noted.
The congress of the OSP was held on 14 April. The leader of the party is the former chairman of the Azerbaijani parliament and the former head of the ADP, Rasul Guliyev. Akif Shahbazov was elected the chairman of the new party (OSP).
