Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Alizade / The President of National Forum of NGOs, MP Azay Guliyev, said on 20 April that the Forum had submitted a project to the Government of Azerbaijan. The project envisages the allocation of finances by the State to the non-governmental organizations. He stressed that presently the Ministry of Finance is verifying the mechanism to allocate funds to the NGOs from the State budget.
"I met with the President's Advisor for Economic Affairs, Vahid Akhundov. Presently studies are being made as for what spheres it is possible to allocate finances to the NGOs," Guliyev said. According to him, the finances will be provided as a grant and this issue will be defined through competition.
