Zarbaliyeva/ Since January - March 2007, from a total of 1,055 criminals wanted by police, 85 persons committed serious crimes. 320 persons from a total of 414 who were previously announced as missing have been found, a source in the Azerbaijan Interior Office stated today.
From a total of 2,661 persons who were detained for committing various crimes, 2,608, have been brought to justice, with 233 being women, 83 juveniles, 2,215 unemployed persons and 300 holding previous convictions.
As a result of the crimes committed over the reporting period, 1,821 became victims, with 774 being women and 42 juveniles.
