Azerbaijani First Lady to Pay a Visit to   Geneva

Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr. S. Aghayeva/ Elchin Amirbayov, the Head of the Permanent Representative Office of Azerbaijan to the UN Geneva Branch-Office, has said by the telephone from Bern that Mehriban Aliyeva, Azerbaijan's First Lady, a Member of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan's Parliament), Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO Good Will, and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation is expected to pay a visit to GenevaВ середине мая According to the Azerbaijani diplomat, the First Lady of the Country will participate at the forthcoming annual conference of the World Health Organization (WHO).

The ceremony on presentation of WHO awards in a number of nominations are expected to be held within the mentioned event. The President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation will be presented the WHO Award in the nomination of "For Exceptional Services in Protection and Strengthening of the Health of Mother, Child, and Family," said Mr. Amirbayov.

Moreover, in Geneva, Mrs. Aliyeva will hold a number of meetings with officials of the International Organization, as well as heads of delegations representing other member-states of the forthcoming event.
