Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / Igbal Agazade, the Chairman of the Umid party stated that the party made the decision to nominate him for the 2008 presidential elections.
During the second conference of the party held on 6 May, 2007, Igbal Agazade was re-elected the Chairman of Umid. Seven people were elected to the Control and Observation Commission and fifteen people became members of the Executive Committee.
Igbal Agazade, the Chairman of the Pro-Oppositional Umid Party is a member of the Milli Mejlis [Azerbaijan Parliament].
