Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr P. Amirjanov / Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev, received a delegation headed by the chairman of the France-Caucasus Friendship Group, Senator Ambruaz Dupon, on 21 May.
Speaking on the successful development of cooperation in all fields between Azerbaijan and France the President noted intensive development of inter-parliamentary relationships. Mr. Aliyev voiced his confidence that the visit of Mr. Dupon would contribute to the development of cooperation.
The Senator indicated development of Azerbaijani-French relationships and reported that the latest visit of Azerbaijani President to France had produced a pleasant impression and opened a new stage of development of the bilateral relationships.
French Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Bernard du Shafo submitted a diploma of the 'Large Cross of Glory Legion' order to Mr. Aliyev on behalf of the French President.
