Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / The Azerbaijan opposition Musavat Party cancelled their demonstration scheduled to take place on 27 May, the party informs.
The Executive Power of Baku gave permission to hold the demonstration on 26, but not 27 May. After receiving a response, the party changed its decision. The party stated that on Saturday, a majority of people go to work and conducting the action on a working day is not practical.
In addition, the party stressed that due to the hot weather, Musavat's actions may be postponed until the end of the summer.
