People with golden hearts were presented 'Golden Heart' international reward on 28 May. The reward cerermony is being held at the Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre.
The first laureate to be rewarded was the wife of the Azerbaijani President, Ms. Mehriban Aliyeva. She was rewarded for large-scale charity activities by the famous Italian, Sofy Loren, the Chairman of the Council of Federation, Sergey Mironov, and the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Igor Ivanov.
"I believe the kind deeds of these laureates are a call to charity. I would like the good to increase more and more," Ms. Aliyeva said.
The next laureats were Olga Kozlova, 11, and Dmitri Filushin, who rescued children while fires. Presenting the rewards the head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Sergey Shoygu, said that the laureats were so little but they already had astounishing brave hearts. "I hope our country will have more such chilrden," the Minister summed up, ITAR-TASS reports.
