Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr.I.Alizadeh / Eldar Ibrahimov, the Chairman of the Permanent Commission of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan Parliament) on Agrarian Policy, stated on 31 May that the term of the spring session of the Parliament would be prolonged.
In compliance with legislation, the term of session of the Parliament might be prolonged according to the initiative of forty-three MPs.
"Forty-three MPs of Azerbaijan have already signed the appeal to prolong the term. Parliament will make a corresponding decision on the issue," Ibrahimov stressed.
Ibrahimov did not announce the new terms of the session.
In compliance with legislation, the spring session of the Parliament begins on 1 February and ends on 31 May.
