Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Alizadeh / Major-General Elchin Guliyev, the Commander of the State Border Service (SBS), stated on 12 June that the staff of the SBS would consist of professionals by the beginning of 2015.
The change in process of staff selection has already been in practice for several years.
Presently, the work is being continued in the Coast Guard.
Azerbaijan is obliged before NATO to change the staff of its various military departments which are part of the Armed Forces of the Republic.
Guliyev added that work on biometrical authentication has been continuing.
