Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. E.Huseyinli / Ramil Usubov, the Interior Minister of Azerbaijan, stated during the press conference of the Interior Minister dedicated to the results of work in the first quarter of 2007, that seventy-two wanted Azerbaijanis who were in foreign countries, were arrested and extradited to Azerbaijan in the first quarter of 2007.
According to Minister, some 2,040 wanted people were arrested and passed to court within this period. As a result of searching and investigations 342 people and 116 gangs, who committed grave crimes, were neutralized.
