Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Alizadeh / Baku residents want the bill on Education to be adopted during the autumn session of the Azerbaijani Parliament.
About one hundred respondents were questioned in a recent poll on education. Some 10% stated that they are not interested in legislation, 50% support the adoption of the bill on Education and the other part of population considers the adoption of the bills concerning pensions, labour legislation, the Election Code, social insurance, construction, show business, agriculture and others to be of greatest importance.
Most respondents expressed dissatisfaction in the functioning of the commissions for science and education.
Similar polls are to be held as a permanent social index tool.
