Azerbaijan, Ganja / Trend V. Mammadov / Azerbaijani judges should be better familiarized with the European Court experience, Judge Vefaddin Ibayev said at a workshop for judges of the East region held in the Ganja-based Appeals Court on 25 October.
The workshop was held through the support of the OSCE Baku-based office. The decisions by the European Court made against Azerbaijan on different Articles of the Convention were discussed at the workshop.
Over 2,000 appeals were submitted to the European Court from Azerbaijan. Eighty of them were taken for consideration. The Court passed decisions on twenty-five appeals.
