(entertainmentwise.com ) - Vanessa Hudgens is seeking dismissal of a lawsuit filed by her former lawyer on the grounds that she was a minor when she, er, sealed the deal.
Acording to court papers, attorney Brian Schall says he is owed $150,000 by the Disney star after he helped her rake in more than $5 million by advancing funds for her songwriting and recording career.
The suit says that Vanessa "has paid some, but not all, of the money owed..."
TMZ reports that papers filed Monday by Vanessa's attorney, Evan N. Spiegel, say California's Family Code "provides that the contract of a minor is voidable and may be disaffirmed before (age 18) or within a reasonable time afterward."
Vanessa signed the contract in the pre-sex scandal days of October of 2005 when she was an innocent 15-year-old.
It was officially disaffirmed on October 9 2005.
