Kate Middleton leaves job to pursue photography
(news.sawf.org ) - Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton bid adieu to her colleagues at Jigsaw, where she was an accessories buyer, with a farewell lunch Wednesday, October 31.
Kate joined Jigsaw, a company in Croydon, South London owned by close family friends, after she left St Andrews University, where she met and bonded with Prince William.
She had been working at the firm three days a week, Tuesday thru Thursday, in order to give herself time to be with Prince William over the weekend.
Her parting was expected and amicable.
Reports that Kate planned to leave Jigsaw to pursue a career in photography first surfaced in September this year.
The 25-year-old told a colleague that she is interested in artistic and still-life pictures, rather than portraits, and may open a gallery.
'The possibilities are endless,' she said.
