Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend E.Huseynli / The volume of rains over the past two last days exceeded the month norm. During this period snowfall in in Guba reached 30sm, the Umayra Tagiyeva, the director of the Hydrometeorology Department of the Azerbaijani Ecology and Nature Resources Ministry said on 8 November. "Unstable weather and intensive rains are forecasted at the beginning of November," Tagiyeva said.
The major part of rains fell on Astara District on 7-8 November. The rains in Astara exceeded the monthly norm and comprised 132%. According to Tagiyeva, short rains will be observed in different parts of Baku on 9-10 November, northwest wind will replace southwest. Short rains are expected in the regions of Azerbaijan. Tagiyeva also said that in the nearest 3 days the weather conditions in Baku and in Absheron peninsula will be unfavorable for mete-sensitive people.
