Sentence Announced for Those Accused of Tragedy in  Leisure  Center in   Baku

Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / Sentence was announced for those accused of collapse of the building in Neapol Leisure Center in Baku which caused death of two people and injuring of four people. According to the judgment of the court, the owner of the facility, who was responsible for security regulations during the construction, Shukur Ahmadov, was sentenced to two years in prison for breaking construction regulations, a source stated in Azerbaijan's Court on Heinous Crimes.

Chief engineer of 'Shen' LLC, Shamil Aliyev, was sentenced to six years in prison for breaking security regulations during construction, mountainous and other works.

A building fell in Neapol leisure centre in Baku in the evening of 14 August. The dead bodies of Rafig Mammadov and Rauf Abdullayev city were removed from the collapsed building. Other four workers received injures of various degree.
