Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / The investments in the education system in Azerbaijan will be increased next year. Azerbaijan's Minister of Education, Misir Mardanov, said on 10 November that in 2008 the investments in education sphere will amount to AZN 240mln compared to AZN 106mln in 2007.
"The investments in the education will be fully put at the expense of local investors and directed towards constructing and repairing secondary schools," the Minister said.
According to Mardanov, 2008 Public budget will allocate more than AZN 1bln for the education sphere.
