Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / Around 250 secondary schools in Baku will be heated in winter months, Misir Mardanov, the Azerbaijani Education Minister, said on 16 November.
The schools must be heated from 16 November.
The Minister touched upon supply of computers and internet to schools. There are about 7,000 educational institutions throughout the country. "All educational institutions must be connected to internet," the Minister added. A special commission is necessary to establish which will control the ICT in schools, Mardanov said.
The Minister said that some school directors misappropriate computers supplied to schools.
