(news.sawf.org) - Prince William is taking his girlfriend, Kate Middleton on a romantic retreat yet again - this time to the luxurious Indian Ocean island of Rodrigues.
The lovebirds, who took a make-or-break holiday in the Seychelles this summer, are now planning a sun-soaked Christmas break in Rodrigues.
William and Kate visited the island when they first got together and the royal was so mesmerized by it that he wrote his university dissertation about the coral reefs there.
"It's the top of William's wish list and he is trying to pin down dates now. He has said he is desperate to take Kate back. Rodrigues is one of William's favorite places on Earth. One of their best memories is when they first visited," the Daily Mail quoted a source, as saying.
"They spent the days snorkeling in the turquoise waters and drinking cocktails on the beach. William first went there seven years ago during his gap year and has loved it ever since. He really wants to spoil Kate and it's going to be his Christmas present to her," the source added.
Other sources have revealed that the couple are expected to leave for Rodrigues after Christmas, which William will spend at Sandringham with the Royal Family.
The holiday is likely to fuel rumors that William is to propose to Kate, the sources added.
However a friend said: "It is very unlikely that William will pop the question. He wants to complete his Army career before he even thinks about getting married."
