Azerbaijan, Guba / Т corr A. Gafarov / The number of divorces in the northern region of Azerbaijan relatively dropped.
According to the State Statistics Committee, in January to October, the number of divorces decreased by 2% in the regions of Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz, Davachi and Siyazan, where 136 marriages out of 832 registered as broken down. Most divorces took place in the region of Khachmaz (41 or 20%). Divorces are caused mostly by meddling by parents, infertility and repeat marriages of men from Russia and other countries.
