Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. К.Zarbaliyeva / The court trial involving the Azerbaijan I rapper Elshad Khose, charged of drug keeping, began on 28 November. The preliminary hearing on the case was held under the chairmanship of the Judge Abbas Rzayev in the Yasamal District Court of Baku on 28 November.
Khose was arrested as a result of drugs operations held by Yasamal District Police Station. A criminal case has been filed for the contravention of Article 234.1 (illegal keeping of drugs) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code. The rapper was sentenced to two months in prison by the decision of the court and is being held in the Bayil Investigation Cell 1.
By the decision of the preparatory commission the hearing was scheduled on 5 December.
The drug expertise approved that Khose is the drug addict.
