Azerbaijan, Gazakh / Trend corr. N.Fatullayeva / Masim Binnatov, Azerbaijani citizen taken a prisoner by the Armenian National Armed Forces, was released from the prison and returned to his motherland. Binnatov said that he was underwent torture in the prison.
Binnatov told to the Trend news agency reporter how he was taken a prisoner.
Bunnatov was returned to his country through mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in the international border between the Armenian Ijevan city and Azerbaijani Gazakh region.
Binnatov as many other persons taken prisoners cannot explain how they were taken prisoners. Binnatov said he was in a state of intoxication when was taken a prisoner.
"One man in military uniform gave a strike to my breast. I fell down. They tied my arms and legs and blindfold my eyes. I was thrown to car in such a state," Binnatov said.
Binnatov's family stated that he was taken a prisoner from a yard of his own apartment.
Samir Mammadov passed his military service in a Military Unit in the district of Gazakh of Azerbaijan bordering with Armenia. He was captured by Armenians at a distance of 15 km from his Military Unit where the Gazakh District of Azerbaijan borders with the Ijevan District of Armenia on December 23, 2006. He was not armed. Up to now, the Azerbaijani soldier has been kept in Yerevan.
