Greis wins biathlon World Cup sprint in Ruhpolding

( dpa ) - Michael Greis of Germany won the 10- kilometre biathlon World Cup sprint in Ruhpolding Saturday thanks to perfect shooting in the range.

The three-time Olympic champion hit all his targets to win in a time of 24 minutes 59.2 seconds. Russia's Maxim Tchoudov missed one target on his way to second place, 19.8 adrift of Greis.

Germany's Alexander Wolf also missed one target on his way to a third place finish.
