V.Mmmadov / A charitable blood corporation will be implemented in Ganja on the day of Ashura, Tahira Mammadova, a doctor of the Ganja City Blood Transfusion Centre, stated on18 January. The process will continue to 21 January. The blood will be given to haemophilia and thalassemia sufferers.
There are 37 haemophilia 31 thalassemia patients in the Centre.
Mammadova said that 80% of patients are juveniles. The increase the number of patients is not high. Six patients were registered in the Centre. One of the registered patients died. The total number of sick people is more than 300.
