Azerbaijan, Baku, 24 January / Тrend corr E. Huseynli / Weather will deteriorate in many regions of Azerbaijan, including Baku, on 29-31 January. It will be snowing in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula during the last days of January, Umayra Tagiyeva, the Deputy Director of the National Hydrometeorological Department at the Azerbaijani Ecology & Natural Resources Ministry, said at a press conference on 24 January.
The snow which Baku and the Absheron Peninsula faced during the first 15 days of January totalled a 3-month norm. There was anomalous frost in that period. At night it was down to 8 degrees below zero.
According to Tagiyeva, at the end of January Baku will face 2 degrees below zero.
