Azerbaijan, Baku, 25 January / corr Trend A.Agayeva / The Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Save the Children will improve the standard of lives of children and their education in Azerbaijan. The Memorandum of Understanding on this issue was signed by the Foundation's Executive Director, Anar Alekperov and the organization's representative in Azerbaijan, Jeff Chakomin, on 25 January.
The Memorandum envisages combining the efforts of the two outstanding organizations with regards to the protection of the children who need care and attention as well as providing physical, physiological and medical assistance to the children.
Heydar Aliyev Foundation was established in 2004. The Foundation's activity is being directed towards developing various spheres in Azerbaijan. Therefore, the Foundation is carrying out projects with regards to culture, education and health.
The humanitarian organization Save the Children provides assistance to children in 40 countries worldwide, in need of support and assistance. The organization opened its office in Azerbaijan in 1993.
