Azerbaijan, Lenkoran, 3 April / corr Trend P.Aliyeva / The first territorail department of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry of Azerbaijan on Southern region compiled 39 acts on ilegal activities for the recent three months.
According to Alizamin Hamidov, the Deputy Chief of department, 40 cu m of wood was confiscated while it was attempted to smuggle it from the forest and 45 hunting guns were also seized. The facts were submited to the corresponding departments for considerstion.
He said that 465 acts were compiled in 2007, 16 on water, 27 on air, 5 on land, 224 on forest and 33 on wastes.
