Media Coverage of Conflicts to be Discussed in Almaty

Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 April / corr. J.Babayeva / The issues on interrelations among the leading Powers connected with aggravation of global contradictions and problems to reach to a compromise among conflicting countries in the Middle East, South Caucasus, Central Asia and Balkans will be discussed during the Euroasian Media Forum in Almaty on 24 and 25 April, Elkhan Nuriyev, head of Strategic Research Centre at the Azerbaijani Presidency, stated Trend .

Nuriyev, being a representative from Azerbaijan, will deliver a report on the topic 'Political portray of CIS countries. Leaders of post Soviet area', as well as on topics related to frozen conflicts and separatism problems in South Caucasus. "Regulation of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict issues will also be touched upon during the forum," Nuriyev noted.

Eurasian Forum unites over 400 representatives from 60 different countries. The key aim of Forum is to create a possibility for participants to hear and perceive voice of other civilization and culture.

It is expected that the 7th Forum will be attended by Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan President. Dariga Nazarbayeva, Head of Eurasian Media Forum Organizational Committee, will chair the meeting.

The well-known political scientists, international experts, as well as Zbignev Bjezinski - former United States President's Assistant on National security, Gleb Pavlovskiy -President of Efficient Policy Found from Russia, Ariel Koen - Head of programs on issues of Russia and Eurasia Heritage Found from US, and other experts and specialists, who study the problems of international and regional policy, will participate in the Forum.
