Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 April / Trend corr G. Jabiyev/ Azay Guliyev, who was elected as the chairman of the Council for State Support to NGOs attached to the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, will leave the President position of National NGOs Forum. He made this statement to Trend on 21 April.
On 21 April, MP Guliyev was elected as the Chairman of the Council for State Support to NGOs. Tahir Suleymanov, head of the working sector on socio-political organizations of the Socio-Political Department at Presidential Administration, was elected as the Deputy and Vugar Majidli, the deputy head of social fields financing department at the Finance Ministry, was elected as the Secretary.
According to Guliyev, he will no longer be the Chairman of National NGOs Forum. "In near future, administration of the Forum will hold meeting to fix a date for the congress for election of a new chairman," he said.
The National NGOs Forum unites 469 NGOs.
