Azerbaijan, Baku 25 April / Trend corr. Z.Safarov / The performance calendar of the Azerbaijani team in the selection tournament for the World Championship on beach football has been defined.
The Azerbaijani Football Federation Association (AFFA) stated to Trend that the competition, which will take place in the C zone, will be held in Benidorm, Spain.
Under the timetable which has been released, the Azerbaijani team will play against Italy on 11 May, Norway on 12 May and Greece in the final. The teams which take first and second place will be allowed to go forward to the next tournament. The team which takes third place has a chance to reach 8th final depending on their performance. The semi-final and final of the World Championship will be held in Marcel, France.
The framework of the team, which will go to Benidorm, has not been specified yet.
