Student Admission for Russian Higher Schools Announced in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku, 28 April / corr. Trend J. Babayeva/ The State Student Admission Commission of Azerbaijan has announced the opening of admission to the higher schools in Russia for the 2008-2009 academic year, the Commission said to Trend on 28 April.

University entrants holding Azerbaijani citizenship and an average school point 4 certificate may apply to the Russian higher schools. Students or high-school graduates cannot apply to the Russian high schools.

Examinations will be held on 11 May 2008 and will be in Azerbaijani and Russian languages. Education in the higher schools of Russia is free of charge.

Those entering Russian universities do not have a right to take part in entrance exams for Azerbaijani higher schools for 2008-2009 academic years.
