Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 April / Trend corr. I.Alizade, M.Aliyev / MP Ahad Abiyev, representative of the ruling New Azerbaijan party (NAP), is planning to make court appeal against the opposition New Musavat newspaper for deformation of his interview.
The MP stated that according to the interview, published in the newspaper, it was stated that Abiyev recognized his Kurdish origin. "However, I said in the interview that representatives of many nationalities including Kurds and Lazgi have been living in Azerbaijan in friendly conditions," Abiyev stated.
Abiyev stated that the opposition is prepared to cause provocation in order to destabilize the situation on the threshold of the presidential elections in the country.
