Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 April / Trend corr. K.Zarbaliyeva / New reformatories will be constructed in the northern region of Azerbaijan. Nazim Alakparov, Deputy Chief of Justice Ministry of Azerbaijan and Chief of Penitentiary Service, stated that the negotiations have been held with the Executive Administration of the region on the border to allocate land plots for the construction of new buildings far from the rest zones
Alakparov stated that a new prison would also be constructed in Kurdamir, Central Aran.
The Ganja Executive Administration has allocated 15 hectares of land to construct a new investigation cell and reformatory.
According to Alakparov, the funds have already been allocated to implement this project.
By the end of 2008, a new isolation cell will be put into commission in Kurdakhani. The reformatories will be put into commission in Shaki and Lankaran by the end of 2009.
