Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend Z. Safarov/ The Azerbaijani team on free-style wrestling has increased the number of its members for the Olympic Games.
The next license was obtained by heavy-weight Ali Isyaev (120kg), who won the bronze medal in the European Championship in Tamper in early April. The vacancy was granted by post factum, as the Georgian wrestler David Modzmanashvili, who won the license in the Euro-2008, turned out to be using doping. Therefore, the license for Beijing Olympic Games was given to Isayev, who is right now getting prepared for the qualification tournament in Poland.
The Azerbaijani team has gained the license for all the weight categories included in the free-style wrestling program.
