Azerbaijani Football Club Will Not Pay Much to Footballer for Performance in Britain – Manager General

Azerbaijan, Baku, 13 June / Trend corr. R.Ergun / Baku, an Azerbaijani football club, will not pay much money to transfer the Macedonian footballer, Georgi Khristov, who performed in the British Premier League. "Khristov has agreed to continue his career in the Baku club. However, we will not pay much to transfer the footballer. We will try to transfer the footballer in compliance with the transfer prices prevailing in Azerbaijan," Zeynal Mammadov, Manager General of the club, informed Trend . 

Khristov may become the first foreign footballer in Azerbaijan, who had performed in the British Premier League. He played for the national team of Macedonia for a long period, coached by Gyoko Hajiyevski. Khristov has played in the British Barnsli club and scored several goals. 

Mammadov stated that Baku is at present holding negotiations with footballers from the Europe and Brazil. "At present, we need in forward and half-back, as well as full-back," the Manager stated.

Baku will start its training session for the upcoming season from 25 June onwards. The first phase of training the club will be held in Azerbaijani Guba region.
