Representatives of BSEC Radio and TV Broadcasting Companies Meet in Istanbul

Turkey, Ankara, 30 June/ corr. Trend T. Aliyev/ Heads of the companies exercising control over radio and TV broadcasting of the countries included in the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) met for the first time. The meeting which unites representatives of 12 countries is held in Istanbul at Turkey's initiative. Nushiravan Maharramli, the chairman of the National TV and Radio Broadcasting Council will represent Azerbaijan in the event, the special correspondent of Trend in Turkey said.

Zahid Akman, head of the supreme Radio and TV Department of Turkey said at the beginning of the meeting that the forum of departments regulating radio and TV broadcasting of BSEC will become one of the important regional unions as the Union of Broadcasting Companies of Europe and Union of Broadcasting Companies of the Mediterranean region.

The implementation of joint projects and prospects of development of departments regulating radio and TV broadcasting of the BSEC are being discussed in the meeting.
