Lomonosov Moscow State University Admits Resident of Azerbaijan’s Astara without Examinations

Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 July / corr. Trend P.Aliyeva / The M.Lomonosov Moscow State University admitted Sadix Agazade, a silver medal winner of the World Chemistry Olympics, without preliminary examinations. Thus, Agazade became the 19th Azerbaijani in the history of this university, who entered the chemistry faculty.

Agazade is 18 years old. He studied at the secondary school in Astara District of Azerbaijan by the sixth form and then he continued the seventh and eighth forms in Krasnoyarsk in Russia. Agazade differed from his peers for his craving for sciences and he was a winner of the Republican Olympics at the ninth and tenth forms. Agazade showed the best result at the Chemistry Olympics in Azerbaijan in 2008 and successfully represented the country at the 42dn International Mendeleyev Olympics held in Tashkent in April and ranked the third place, as well as, won a bronze medal at the World Chemistry Olympics held in Budapest in July.

After this Olympics with 64 countries Agazade received an invitation from the universities of the most participant-countries to continue his higher education, but chose the M.Lomonosov Moscow State University, the world known university.

According to Agazade, he wants to continue the way of academician Yusif Mammadaliyev, a famous scientist and PhD in Chemistry.

Agazade's eldest brother in the family, Elvin is studying at the university in Turkey and Leyla, his sister, is a student of Baku Khazar University.
