Azerbaijan and Belarus to Cooperate in Health Care
Azerbaijan, Baku, 31 July/ Trend , corr A. Aliyev/ Belarus is interested in cooperating with Azerbaijan in the medical sphere, Vladimir Zharko, the health care minister of Belarus said during his meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ogtay Shiraliyev.
Shiraliyev spoke of the work carried out to develop health care in Azerbaijan and added that the domestic doctors are now conducting heart and kidney transplantation operations. For the last three years, the salary of the doctors has been increased by four times. Health Care Minister of Belarus said that the cooperation between Minks and Baku includes the support for the surgical operations on transplantation of heart, kidney, liver and exchange of specialists and students.
The meeting of the ministers ended with the signing of Agreement on Special Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus.
