This morning a number of Olympic competitions will take place in Beijing with the participation of KazakhstanТs athletes, KazInform refers to the press-service of the RK Ministry of Tourism and Sport
Vitaliy Dovgun and Yuriy Yurkov will compete in the 10 meter air rifle competitions (from 9.00 a.m. to 12.20 p.m. local time). Also our judoists, Renat Ibragimov (73 kg.) and Gulzat Uralkbayeva (57 kg), will participate in qualification fights (from 12.00 p.m.).
Yelena Struchayeva will participate in the trap-shooting competition (from 9.00 a.m.). KazakhstanТs WomenТs Handball team will battle with France (at 9.00 a.m.) and the WomenТs Volleyball team will play against Italy (at 11.00 a.m.)
In the preliminary boxing matches Galib Dzhafarov (57 kg) will face Shahin Imranov (Azerbaijan) and Merei Akshalov (60 kg) will face Miklos Varda (Hungary). The fights will start at 13.30 p.m. local time.
Also, according to the results of the august 10th qualification heats, KazakhstanТs swimmers might earn a place in the semi-finals.
