Turkish University’s 30 Azerbaijani Students to be Granted Scholarship
Azerbaijan, Baku, 10 October / Trend corr. J.Babayeva/ Thirty Azerbaijani students at the Turkish Kocaeli University will be granted scholarships to solve their material problems, Chancellor of the Kocaeli University Sezer Komshuoglu said at the meeting with Azerbaijani students initiated by the Federation of Turkish and Azerbaijani Communities, according to the Azerbaijan State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis residing Abroad.
Najiba Nasibova, the education advisor of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Turkey, Parviz Mammadzade, the Azerbaijani Consul in Istanbul, Bilal Dundar, the chairman of the Federation of Turkish and Azerbaijani Communities were in attendance.
According to Dundar, Federation made serious efforts to reach granting of scholarships to the Azerbaijani students. Several businessmen wish to assist on the issue.
After the discussions at the University, the participants met with Kocaeli Governor Gokhan Sozer to coordinate the issue.
