Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 October / Trend corr.R.Ergun /Berti Fogts, coach of the Azerbaijani National Football Team, said that the experience of Azerbaijani footballers up to the mark.
"Players perform well during trainings. In most cases they fail to perform on the pitch. The psychological state of footballers is normal. There are several problems from the point of view of their experience," said Fogts in his interview to the official website of the Azerbaijani Football Federation Association (AFFA).
On 11 October, the Azerbaijani team met with Finland (0:1) within the selection tournament of the World Championship -2010.
At the first stage of the match with Finnish players Azerbaijani footballers had dread.
Later, our players had demonstrated good football. Azerbaijani footballers have demonstrated high physical training till the end of the match,' said Fogts.
On 15 October, the Azerbaijani National Football Team will meet with Bahrain. Match will start at 8:15pm at local time.
Fogts was appointed as the coach of the Azerbaijani National Team in April 2008. Under Fogts's coaching Azerbaijani footballers held three matches within the World Championship-2010. Two matches were lost and one ended in a draw.
