Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 November / Trend corr. R.Ergun / It is expected that a tournament on water-motor boats will take place in Azerbaijan in 2009.
"Our main objective is to achieve organization of this sport in the Caspian Sea. We can increase huge investors' interest toward Azerbaijan and develop his sport in the country through it," Mehriban Aliyeva, the Water-Motor Boats World Federation's representative for Azerbaijan and a member of the Work Group of the Federation's Executive Body, said at a news conference in the Trend Agency on 14 November.
At present 52 countries are members of the Water-Motor Boats World Federation. Only Russia and Azerbaijan are represented at the federation from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
